This Privacy Policy explains how Kuromis VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') collects, uses and protects personal information through its mobile application (referred to as the 'App'). We process data only within the scope needed to provide and maintain the service, and we protect your privacy under this policy.

When you download, launch or use the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, duration of use and approximate location. This information is used to: 1. recommend suitable routes based on Kuromis VPN's node distribution; 2. analyze connection quality through anonymized aggregate data; 3. send important service updates, security notices or account-related messages. We limit data use and retention according to this policy.

We only transmit aggregated anonymized data to necessary third-party partners, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, feature improvement and service maintenance. Except for legal process, regulatory requirements, user or public safety, fraud investigation, or cooperation with contracted service providers under confidentiality obligations, we do not disclose your personal information to third parties. To stop data collection, remove the App through the standard uninstall process on your device.

User-provided data will be retained during the service period and for a reasonable grace period afterward. If you need to cancel your account early and delete your profile, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover mistakenly collected information from this group, we will delete it as soon as possible. Guardians may contact us through the same email for necessary handling.

This Privacy Policy may be updated because of regulatory requirements or business changes. Please review this page periodically. Continued use after changes are published will be treated as acceptance of the revised policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
